Save Up to $1100 Off Stacked Alienware Aurora RTX 4090 Gaming PCs for Black Friday
As part of its Dell Black Friday Sale event, Dell is offering up to $1100 off these two Alienware Aurora R15 gaming PCs equipped with high end CPUs, top-of-the-line GeForce RTX 4090 GPUs, and copious amounts of RAM and storage. They aren’t the absolute lowest prices we’ve seen on Alienware RTX 4090 equipped gaming PCs, but the small price premium is worth the extra upgrades that Dell has included. They aren’t cheap, but then again no RTX 4090 equipped gaming PC is.
Up to $1100 Off Alienware Aurora RTX 4090 Gaming PCs
The lesser expensive config costs $3099.99. The specs include an AMD Ryzen 9 7950X CPU, RTX 4090 GPU, 32GB of DDR-4800MHz RAM, and a 2TB NVME SSD. The Ryzen 9 7950X features a boost clock speed of 5.7GHz with 16 cores, 32 threads, and 80MB of total cache. This is still AMD’s best general purpose CPU, excelling at gaming, 3D rendering, multi-tasking, and pretty much anything else you can throw at it. It’s cooled by Alienware’s “Cryo-Tech” liquid cooling, which is Dell’s highest-end 240mm all-in-one cooling.
The more expensive config costs $3399, and the upgrades include an Intel Core i9-13900KF processor and a whopping 64GB of RAM and an equally impressive 4TB NVMe SSD. For those of you who want to stick to a specific aesthetic, the chassis sports a clean white (Lunar White) theme instead of black. The unlocked 13th gen Intel Core i7-13900KF Raptor Lake CPU boasts a max Turbo clock of 5.8GHz with 24 cores, 32 threads, and a 36MB cache. This is one of the most powerful consumer CPUs on the market right now. The “F” in 13900KF simply means that the chip doesn’t have onboard graphics (iGPU). That won’t matter if you have a discrete GPU, which in this case is the RTX 4090. It’s better than the 7950X in gaming and equivalent in productivity performance.
The RTX 4090 is far and away the most powerful video card you can get right now, leaving competitors like AMD’s latest Radeon RX 7900 XTX in the dust. It’s also ridiculously more powerful than any of the RTX 30 series cards: for example, it’s up to 90% faster than the 3080 Ti. The 4090 is the best card for ray-traced 4K gaming at consistent 60+fps performance in any game currently released. It doesn’t look like a better card will come out for quite a while.
